The versatility of Pino 3.0 is convincing no matter in which weather or terrain conditions you fly.

Due to its low weight and thin wing airfoil, it scores with excellent dynamics even in very weak conditions.
With generous possibility for ballast there are no limits for Pino 3.0 even in strong winds.

The self-developed combination of airfoil sections of the smaller Pino with 2.5m - consisting of 5 airfoils - has convinced in versatility and dynamics so much that we have adopted it unchanged.

Applications: High start with rubber, winch or electric drive in the plane or on slope optional with electric drive as homecoming assistance.

The model is also available as electric version.

First feedback from our customers, here f.e. from Alexandre Mittaz:

The plane keeps the qualities of the PINO 2.5 and take them to a new level of performance.
It combines the characteristics of a slope glider and a thermal duration ship. I was able to do a couple of flights with the PINO 3.0, in both lights conditions and with some wind yesterday. I flew it empty in light thermal conditions and with two steel joiners in the wind. What a great plane you designed!
Flies beautifully, very responsive, super quiet almost no noise when flying.

A FEW DETAILS
New design december 2018 (Medium-Version has graphics on upper side in visual carbon)
The wing is constucted as shell made of airex as supporting material and 75g carbon non crimp fabric as outer skin
The upper side is fully painted. The downside is left in visual carbon.
As with the smaller version, the script serves for better visibilty.

Many sophisticated details and modern production methods are combined in Pino 3.0. Thus, the fuselage is manufactured in a high pressure process to optimize light weight with maximum strength and stiffness. The front area is manufactured with black colored glass for undisturbed reception of 2.4GHz.

Our special technical solution of the wing-fuse connection ensures the high longevity of the model. Nylon screws as quick release combined with spring-loaded electrical contacts minimize damage in case of a rough landing.

The model is available as a glider and electric version.

Installation of electronic equipment in the glider version

The V-tail is split in two halves and can easily be mounted on the tail of the fuselage.

The two parts are manufactured in
full-core-construction with rohacell as core and 75g carbon non crimp fabric as outer skin

The fully assembled linkage is covered aerodynamically clean with a lid.
Construction:
Fuselage:
  • High modular, unidirectional carbon fabric in combination with 75g carbon non crimp fabric / black glass for 2,4GHz-receipt
Wing:
  • Shell made of airex as supporting material and 75g carbon non crimp fabric as outer skin
  • Spar booms made of carbon / shear web made of balsa planked with glass / aileron-torsions webs made of carbon
Stabilizer:
  • V-tail made in full-core-construction with rohacell as core and 75g carbon non crimp fabric as outer skin
  • Spread-tow tapes as spar booms

Pre-fabrication:

  • All rudders are cut and mounted with kevlar
  • Openings for the servos are pre-fabricated, covers are enclosed
  • Cable ducts glued in place (keep cables in position and make installation easier)
  • Bowden cable pipes are ready installed
  • Fuselage nose has cutouts ready prepared for mounting of servos
  • Openings in fuselage are cut
  • Linkage for the elevator is ready installed inside rudder
  • Kitparts (incl. electronic spring contact) are included in kit
  • The building instruction will soon be available as a pdf-file for download on our homepage.
